Longwood Quarries Ltd has been supplying quality Lincolnshire limestone and agricultural lime in the local area for over 80 years. Incorporated in 1941 and owned by a local family company, Blankney Estates Ltd. Initially supplying burnt lime from kilns on the site (pictured in 1944), the quarry now supplies screened agricultural lime to farmers across the local area. But our primary focus is on providing quality limestone aggregates to the construction industry ranging from large housing and civil engineering companies to small local odd-jobbers.

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and provide a reliable delivery option using 8-wheelers typically carrying just under 20 tonnes per load. Collection from the quarry is available for anything from a car with a trailer up to artics. More information is on the delivery & collection page. All products are accurately weighed on our calibrated weighbridge, and a computer-generated ticket is provided. For those companies needing a regular supply of aggregates, we can offer an account facility subject to relevant checks or for one-off purchases, we can offer a pay as you go service, accepting payment by card or BACs prior to delivery or upon collection at the weighbridge.
We produce a wide range of single-sized or graded Lincolnshire limestone aggregates, including Type 1 trench fill and 6F5. We also hold various sands and gravels on stock for customer convenience, which can be collected from the quarry. For more information on our products, please see the products page.
